Aknara Water Front (Pvt) Ltd has received Fastest Growing Company of the Year at the Global Business Excellence Awards 2026. Organised by London Business Consultancy, London, UK, the awards recognise businesses, professionals and creative work across a broad range of fields. For Aknara Water Front (Pvt) Ltd, the 2026 recognition places the spotlight on waterfront hospitality and events.

A waterfront setting for celebrations

Aknara Water Front is located beside the Bolgoda River in Panadura. Its public offering brings together accommodation, dining, weddings, banquets and corporate gatherings. The venue describes distinct event spaces, giving its hospitality identity a combination of a waterside setting and places for people to come together.

Fastest Growing Company of the Year is the title awarded to Aknara Water Front (Pvt) Ltd at GBE Awards 2026. In this feature, the recognition sits within the practical context of a hospitality business, where guest stays and events create different but connected experiences of the same location.

Hospitality with more than one occasion

A wedding, a business gathering and a leisure stay use a venue in different ways. An event has its own timetable and atmosphere, while a guest may be looking for somewhere to spend unhurried time. Aknara's published combination of services makes those varied uses part of its business identity.

The 2026 GBE award gives Aknara Water Front a distinct enterprise milestone. It celebrates the named company while highlighting the place of event-led hospitality within the wider business landscape. The setting beside the Bolgoda River adds a clear sense of location to the story, connecting the venue's public identity with the occasions it accommodates and the people who choose it as a place to gather.
