Recognition framework
GBE Awards brings together three distinct responsibilities: Sri Lankan institutional recognition through DEC, business-faculty research and academic review, and programme administration by the London-based UK organiser. This page explains those roles without blurring the difference between them.

Sri Lankan institutional recognition
The GBE Awards programme is institutionally recognised in Sri Lanka through DEC.
DEC is identified under the Ministry of Industry of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Gazette No. 2387/25.
DEC's role here is institutional recognition of the awards programme in Sri Lanka; DEC is not presented as the programme's education provider, awarding body, or academic accreditor.
Research and academic review
SITC Campus Business Faculty contributes business-focused research and academic review to the recognition framework.
Its role supports informed review by bringing an academic and business-research perspective to the awards programme.
UK organiser
London Business Consultancy organises and administers the Global Business Excellence Awards from London, UK.
As the UK organiser, London Business Consultancy manages programme administration, award records, and authorised certificate issuance from London.

Certificate authenticity
GBE Awards certificates are issued through London Business Consultancy and signed by an authorised representative of the UK organiser. The certificate is an award-programme record; it is not a certificate issued by the UK Government.
Authenticity comes from the match between the recipient, award title, category, year, authorised signature, and the organiser's published record.
The certificate records the recipient, award title, category, and award year as maintained by the GBE Awards organiser.
Each certificate is signed by an authorised representative of London Business Consultancy, the UK organiser.
Published winner records provide a public reference connecting the recipient to the relevant award and year.
