Date with Danu: Most Popular Talk Show of the Year at GBE Awards 2026

Date with Danu - Hi TV has received Most Popular Talk Show of the Year at the Global Business Excellence Awards 2026. Organised by London Business Consultancy, London, UK, the awards recognise businesses, professionals and creative work across a broad range of fields. For Date with Danu, the 2026 recognition places the spotlight on television conversation and interviews.

A programme shaped by its conversations

Date with Danu is a Hi TV programme hosted by Danu Innasithamby. Its public archive includes interviews and group conversations with guests from different professional and creative settings. The recurring title connects those editions through the personality of the host and the talk-show format.

An interview programme can make a familiar public figure feel different from a prepared performance or a short news appearance. The conversation has room to move between work, experience and perspective, with the relationship between host and guest shaping the pace of the exchange.

A format with room to listen

Talk shows depend on questions, but also on the space between them. A response can open a different direction, while several guests can bring contrasting experiences into the same discussion. That gives the format a character of its own within television, distinct from a scripted story or a competition.

At the Global Business Excellence Awards 2026, Date with Danu - Hi TV receives Most Popular Talk Show of the Year. The milestone celebrates the programme as a creative work and gives its conversation-led identity a place among the year's media recipients. It highlights the value of a recurring format in which the act of listening is as much a part of the viewing experience as the questions being asked.
