Dinamina: Best Legacy Sinhala Newspaper of the Year at GBE Awards 2026

Dinamina has received Best Legacy Sinhala Newspaper of the Year at the Global Business Excellence Awards 2026. Organised by London Business Consultancy, London, UK, the awards recognise businesses, professionals and creative work across a broad range of fields. For Dinamina, the 2026 recognition places the spotlight on sinhala newspaper publishing.

A newspaper identity carried across editions

Dinamina is a Sinhala-language daily newspaper associated with Lake House. Its public news website extends the newspaper's identity into a digital setting, where readers can encounter coverage without holding a printed edition. The 2026 GBE award focuses on the legacy newspaper category.

A newspaper differs from a single article because its identity continues while the subjects change. Each edition brings new events into a familiar publication framework, with the title providing a point of recognition for the reader. That continuity is central to understanding a legacy-focused honour.

Print heritage in a digital reading world

A newspaper name can move between paper and screen while remaining recognisable. The reading experience changes, but the public identity connects individual reports and editions. This gives a legacy category a contemporary relevance without making it only a celebration of the past.

At the Global Business Excellence Awards 2026, Dinamina receives Best Legacy Sinhala Newspaper of the Year. The milestone celebrates the named publication and gives Sinhala newspaper publishing a clear place among the media recipients. It highlights a field in which a continuing title serves as the thread between daily reporting, readers' routines and the changing ways people choose to access information.
