Maheshi Madushanka: Best Supporting Actress of the Year at GBE Awards 2026

Maheshi Madushanka has received Best Supporting Actress of the Year at the Global Business Excellence Awards 2026. Organised by London Business Consultancy, London, UK, the awards recognise businesses, professionals and creative work across a broad range of fields. For Maheshi Madushanka, the 2026 recognition places the spotlight on supporting screen performance.

An acting category with a distinct purpose

Maheshi Madushanka is a Sri Lankan screen performer whose public credits include film work and whose media appearances include a Neth FM interview. Her 2026 GBE recognition is Best Supporting Actress of the Year, a title focused on supporting performance rather than on a programme as a whole.

A supporting role can give a scene another point of view. Through a relationship, a reaction or the way a character enters a story, it can change what an audience understands about the people at its centre. That contribution does not depend only on how long the character is on screen.

The effect of a character within an ensemble

Acting is a form of creative work that often becomes most visible through interaction. A performance needs to belong to the scene while still giving the character a particular presence. The supporting-actress category brings attention to that relationship between an individual contribution and a shared fictional world.

At the Global Business Excellence Awards 2026, Maheshi Madushanka receives a milestone under Best Supporting Actress of the Year. The accolade celebrates the named recipient and gives supporting performance a clear place among the year's media honours. It highlights a field where a character can help a story feel more complete, adding a perspective that changes the audience's experience of the work around it.
