Megakem Lanka (Pvt) Ltd: Excellence in Construction Chemicals & Waterproofing Technology at GBE Awards 2026

Megakem Lanka (Pvt) Ltd has received Excellence in Construction Chemicals & Waterproofing Technology at the Global Business Excellence Awards 2026. Organised by London Business Consultancy, London, UK, the awards recognise businesses, professionals and creative work across a broad range of fields. For Megakem Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, the 2026 recognition places the spotlight on construction chemicals and waterproofing.

The materials behind a finished building

Megakem Lanka and Megakem Engineering are members of Wardena Venture Holdings. Their published business focus covers the manufacture, supply and professional application of construction chemicals and coatings. That places Megakem within a part of construction that is often less visible than the finished surface, but closely connected to how building materials are specified and applied.

Waterproofing is a good example of that hidden work. It requires attention to the substrate, the location and the intended use of a space. A product and its application method need to be considered together, which is why the award title names both construction chemicals and waterproofing technology.

A specialist contribution to construction

The recognition is not a general award for every stage of a building project. It belongs to Megakem Lanka (Pvt) Ltd in the focused field described by the 2026 title. Keeping that focus makes the milestone relevant to people researching construction materials, coatings and waterproofing services.

GBE Awards 2026 honours Megakem Lanka with Excellence in Construction Chemicals & Waterproofing Technology. The award brings a specialist materials business into the spotlight and acknowledges the importance of technical product fields within the construction economy. It celebrates the named recipient while drawing attention to work that sits between manufacturing knowledge and on-site practice, where the suitability of a material and the way it is used are inseparable parts of the same conversation.
