Nuga Sewana: Outstanding Women's Lifestyle Television Programme at GBE Awards 2026

Nuga Sewana - Rupavahini has received Outstanding Women's Lifestyle Television Programme at the Global Business Excellence Awards 2026. Organised by London Business Consultancy, London, UK, the awards recognise businesses, professionals and creative work across a broad range of fields. For Nuga Sewana, the 2026 recognition places the spotlight on women's lifestyle television.

A familiar lifestyle-programme identity

Nuga Sewana appears within Rupavahini's published programme information as a recurring television format. The GBE Awards 2026 title recognises Nuga Sewana - Rupavahini as Outstanding Women's Lifestyle Television Programme, giving a women-focused lifestyle category a distinct place among the year's media honours.

Lifestyle television can bring several parts of everyday experience into the same programme setting. Rather than following a fictional plot or a competitive result, the audience encounters conversation and material connected with life outside the screen. A recurring title gives those different subjects a familiar home.

The value of an everyday perspective

A women's lifestyle category creates space for a perspective that is not defined only by a news event or a major public occasion. The programme's identity is connected with the audience it is intended to address and the regular experience of watching. This gives the format a different rhythm from a one-off documentary or a drama series.

At the Global Business Excellence Awards 2026, Nuga Sewana - Rupavahini receives a milestone within lifestyle broadcasting. The accolade celebrates the named programme and highlights a form of television built around the interests and experiences of everyday life. It brings that perspective into the wider awards programme, alongside creative works, media personalities and professional achievement across other fields.
