Viraj Perera: Best Supporting Actor of the Year at GBE Awards 2026

Viraj Perera has received Best Supporting Actor of the Year at the Global Business Excellence Awards 2026. Organised by London Business Consultancy, London, UK, the awards recognise businesses, professionals and creative work across a broad range of fields. For Viraj Perera, the 2026 recognition places the spotlight on supporting screen performance.

A role within the larger story

Viraj Perera is publicly featured as an actor in broadcaster interview material. At the Global Business Excellence Awards 2026, he receives Best Supporting Actor of the Year. The title gives supporting performance its own place in the programme, rather than treating every acting recognition as the same kind of role.

A supporting character can change the way a central story is understood. The role may create tension, offer a contrast or reveal another side of a relationship. Its importance is connected with the whole scene, where a performance has to work with the story around it rather than apart from it.

Recognising the shared nature of acting

Screen performance is often discussed through the leading roles, but a story is usually populated by a wider set of people. Their interactions give the fictional world depth. A supporting-actor category brings attention to that ensemble setting, recognising a contribution that helps shape what the audience experiences as one coherent work.

At GBE Awards 2026, Viraj Perera receives a distinct milestone in supporting performance. The accolade celebrates the named actor and highlights the creative significance of a role within a larger production. It gives a place in the wider awards story to a profession built around response and interaction, where a character's effect can be felt through the way others are understood.
